Beschrijving

Taking its name from a classic 1940s text which opened the eyes of a new generation of enthusiasts, The Trains We Loved features 32 splendid paintings, many previously unpublished, by Philip Hawkins, and 100 of the finest black and white railway photographs by Philip Alexander, Eric Treacy and other famous names. The richly atmospheric text, based on sound research, combines unashamed nostalgia with substantial reference value. This is a book no true enthusiast will want to be without.
